This is a message and please do not take this the wrong way either because I do care about all of you but there is something I need to share.

I am a woman alone, but I have lots of people who know me all over. Over the past 35 yrs I have attempted to help and do what I can to help people in need who have been victims of violations of the justice system, with employment discrimination, risk my life and limb with those who have been involved with insiders clout who have been victimized by giving them time of my program then going into great depth to help them out, no I do not get paid. If I asked for any help the people who I have help and those who are people who have come on my program seem to get angry and feel that I have a hidden stock pile of cash under my pillow. How do I live, just day by day with little. Sometimes I don’t eat for a day or so, well I forget to these days because my illness has me afraid of food because once I eat I can not sleep I am in pain from swelling in my legs arms and feet and my legs and hands burn from the tingling and numbness but I live with it. And many people who are disabled live with it.

Yes my voice sounds great at times, and sometimes I can not think and or want to talk on the phone because of the pain, yes I have gone to the doctors at least 30 times so far this year and each time I come in they think its heart related because my blood pressure is normally 200/110 something, again this can fry out your kidneys and other organs but, I also have a condition called lymph edema I have swelling in my glands in my neck and under my arms which adds to the swelling in my legs arms and feet. I sleep when I can sitting upright in my chair if I lay down I wake up in hours numb, tingling with burning in my left side. Again no one knows what this is and I go in get more heart meds and therefore this is why I have not been on the air much, nor have I called people and talked on the phone for long lengths of times because I can not.

As far as money, I have had hardly nothing coming in as far as income, still looking for work but I am limited to what I can do, because of the health issue I can not stay inside a place long because I feel closed in and panic because of the pain, tingling and burning that can flare up at anytime. In the past it was worse at night but now it is anytime of the day or night.  I am continuous behind on my rent and the interesting fact is that you would think that there are handicap services well I got nothing, no housing nothing in fact one woman came out to see if there could be someone assigned to assist me because I was so bad off and I was told that I was not bad off enough – I can got nothing! Each week I worry not knowing if I will make my rent. And yes I had worked in all those big fine fortune 500 corporations in which many can not find my pension, I can not get social security because I had worked within the government and those years interfered with my quarters whereby I would get at least $900 a month but again this is what we work for and this is where I am today.

I recently had a nightmare happen and I am so numb for nightmare after nightmare I don’t react anymore because this is a normal way of living in America.

My car broke down, on the highway, I was with the burning pain tingling numbness and all but again I have to keep going attempting to locate some way of keeping up my rent payment. I have about thousand of more resumes out nothing back even if I could work somewhere a few hours and take a chance on something it’s better than nothing.  

People say to me why are you living in a hotel, well look if I get sick I can call someone and they will call the medic’s I have a full kitchen and much better off than being on the streets because if you are homeless and ill there is nothing - nothing at all.

Well going back to the car issue I was on the highway, my cell phone which is not working right either as far as charging began to beep letting me know it was going off soon. I did not know what to do because the only thing I got now is the car, well it was smoking, I could not pull the hood switch because they was broken so I sat in the car for a spell. As I was sitting I had decided to get out and see if I could do something what who knows. I received calls coming in from people needing me to help them but I could not do anything nothing just sit in the car. I called those I know locally and they told me things like “Oh I knew that car would do that! So what’s your plan? Then I called others who told me they were not able to do anything well they had nothing either, I had no tow money, nothing and was fearful that the state troopers would come because if they did that would be an additional $300 in towing charges which I don’t have and I would have lost the car for good.

I sat there realizing I have no body nothing, just me and my dog who was somewhere else and who needed me and I knew I have to make it back to him because he was loyal and my close friend. And don’t get me wrong there have been people who had aided me in the pass but again it’s hard if you have nothing no real income nothing and you are sick. And again many people do not understand illness until it hits them or someone they really care about.

While sitting there on the side of the highway with cars flying by and has I was going to get out of the car, I looked out of the passenger side of the window. And I saw a Gray Wolf! It was on the green area about a yard from my car rolling around the in the green area. My idea of getting out of the car was gone, and this was while I saw smoke coming out of the hood and felled heat inside the car, so I just sat there and waited.

I saw numbers coming on my cell but could not answer because I was down to one bar and the lighter inside my car did not work either so there was nothing I could do with the cell phone nothing. Then it was just like an angel I looked up and there was a tow truck! I was amazed, the person came to my car and it was a woman tow truck driver named Tony, she came to asked me if I was alright, WOW!  Then she told me that I was not in a safe place and they someone a few days before was in the same condition and he got killed in his car waiting for a tow for AAA. She told me she could tow me I was still amazed, this was a woman who cared and was concerned. She did not know me and was like those of you that had help me from a far she had compassion. So she chained up my car and took it to the repair shop and brought me back home.

This is like what Mark Koenke did my getting some folks to help me who knew nothing about me and or my program but they came and help me with my rent, and fixed my car this wonder man named Ron. Then there is my co-host John and before that Mike, Mark, Ira my programming friend who had helped me with my rent in order for me to stay alive.

I have not been able to pay back anyone because I am still without a job, and having more issues with my health but things like this are miracles.

You see this is why I started homeless radio because we all are about two minutes from being in these conditions with nothing. And you are judged because those that have for a minute can not understand how people get into these conditions but please do not get sick because then you will see who cares and who is there for you.

I can not stay on the phone long these days because of my condition, I also have issues with falling a sleep at anytime but again there is no one within the health industry who can help me I am working it out but its hard.

I do not eat three times a day maybe once if that I get no food stamps nope. I have rent that I can barely keep up with and I have no income from radio nothing no donations nothing coming in for that do to I can’t do everything myself these days its hard and if it was not for John being my backup on the program who knows what would have happened.

Because I am on the radio I can and have help those of you get your stories out why can’t you make a weekly or monthly?  It helps and I can then help you from my location.

I need your help and support in this if you feel that you need a real program that is there to get your issues out I am one of the few who returns calls and investigate. It’s the anniversary of Sherman Skolnick going on his radio program he too got nothing, we talked about it, all the cases he help file and report of corruption, no one give him hardly a cent, he told me that one case he worked on for years filing litigation and helping this guy one of many win his case, well that guy gave him $100 yep for years of work up. Others could not ever pay for a cup of coffee but everyone listen and followed him and he was the man who brought up the investigation of Illinois Corruption in the Courts Grey lord taking down Judges again not given any credit but instead he was made a victim of attacks by those who had clout from inside who hated him because he got many exposed and removed. Skolnick’s work was the very causes which lead to his death, Just like Gary Webb and all the others including my father Dan Burley real reporters investigating and telling the truth that is not in the press.

For years I was doing much of the same from behind the seen because I knew well the workings of the machine and again I came out in the open because there was no one to report anything to because the system has corrupted almost everything. Yes there are a few good souls out there doing the same type of work but there are not insiders nor had experience of what’s going on from the inside, and that’s the difference.

This is radio talk show host DAnne Burley I have been  ill for some time and in  and out of hospitals for heart failure and now issues with my kidney. Please help me I am without the means to pay my rent, I have little income no public assistance other than my medical card which does not cover much.

Please I need to raise $251 by Friday I attempted to do other thinks but I am limited to what I can do for work because of health. Whatever you can do will help anything please I have no where to go. If you listen to my program I not only research the news and report it on the air but I have been involved in helping people out who also have hardship within advocating for there issues and getting them on the radio because the mainstream will not. I have gone to legislators and others to assist in these things.   I do not get paid for any of my services. But my point is that it can be me so I do this while I am disabled.

I have been on the air for over 15 yrs total including my television show which was on 5 years which I had stopped doing due to ill health and also my Am Radio program for the same reason. If you understand that it is more than just doing something on the internet and talking because not  only do I discuss the stories but I have many of the guess that are on mainstream on my program and others who have other sides of the controversy discuss factors of the news not told this is a program that has been for the people, business men and women who have ideas within there business who can come on and share their companies idea's on the air, and I can do this via the equipment I have here but if I am on the street then I will  loss everything therefore those of you that I help to share your information I can not continue to help and your issue will then go onto the black ear of today's press and other media.
